►Description
Potassium carbonate (K2CO3) is a white salt, soluble in water (insoluble in ethanol) which forms a strongly
alkaline solution. It can be made as the product of potassium hydroxide's absorbent reaction with carbon dioxide.
It is deliquescent, often appearing a damp or wet solid. Potassium carbonate is used in the production of soap
and glass.Food grade can be used in food additives.

►Application:
1. It is applied in production of Potassium Silicate, Potassium Phosphate, and other Potassium composites;
2. Using in production of optical glass, TV tube glass, PDP glass, etc. Improving clarity, strength and refractive
index;
3. Using as food additives, such as Noodle enhancer, cocoa, also used to produce food additives like potassium
sorbate and monopotassium phosphate;
4. Using in detergents, pesticides, feeds, etc.
5. Using in the fertilizer industry for removal of Carbon Dioxide from the Ammonia production synthesis gas
coming from the steamreformer;
6. As An ingredient in welding fluxes, and in the flux coating on arc welding rods;
7. Potassium carbonate is foliar spray fertilizer and a constituent of compound fertilizer;
8. In dyeing industry, it is used to produce vat dyestuff and discharge of ice dyeing;
